Inspired by the life of professional American football player Spencer Paysinger with Daniel Ezra in the lead role, this drama follows the story of a rising high school American football player from South L.A. who is recruited to play for Beverly Hills High. The wins, losses, and struggles of two families from vastly different worlds begin to collide while he also struggles to find his footing as the new team is threatened by his arrival.
