We’re very happy to announce that “Astronaut” by Katie Toupin is being featured in a regional ad for Space Center Houston. Katie appears in the spot, which focuses on support for young women in STEM fields like science and technology. It’s a perfect fit for “Astronaut”, which is all about wanting to be an astronaut when you grow up.
About Katie Toupin
Katie Toupin’s solo career is on the rise after the massive success of her former band Houndmouth and has since released a live EP, a self-produced album, and multiple EP’s and singles, and her solo live shows do not disappoint, blending her entire discography into an energetic, full band experience.
About the Space Center Houston
The Space Center Houston is a science museum that serves as the official visitor center of NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston and is the home of Mission Control and astronaut training. The center opened in 1992 replacing the former Visitor Center in Johnson Space Center Building 2. The museum is 250,000 square feet (23,000 m2) and displays 400 space artifacts, the Mercury 9, Gemini 5, and Apollo 17 space capsules.
