Featured Placement: “My Way” by Mom Rock

We’re proud to announce that “My Way” by Mom Rock will be featured in episode 2 of the new sports docuseries The Dynasty: The New England Patriots, now streaming on Apple TV+! Mom Rock Canadian-American indie rock outfit Mom Rock combines the forces of Curtis Heimburger, Wilson Reardon and Tara Maggiulli. They got their start taking Boston’s college party scene by storm, and have since stolen the hearts of show-goers with electric live sets, infectious original tunes, and signature themed get-ups. Mom Rock – “Close Your Eyes”

Pulling from memories of a childhood celebrity crush, in Mom Rock’s latest single “Close Your Eyes” is all about realizing that some fantasies are just not meant to be. This is the second single off the band’s forthcoming album, ‘Now That’s What I Call Mom Rock’ which was produced by Sean O’Keefe (Fall Out Boy, Plain White T’s, Beach Bunny). You see someone from afar and fall in love. Without knowing who this person really is, you dream up a whole future together. This kid essentially obsesses over a popstar, meets her, and she’s like, ‘You’re a kid. I’m not in love with you. That would be weird.’ We’d been covering ‘Teenage Dirtbag,’ and it’s the reverse sentiment. It’s a ‘sad in love’ song.
