Alexander Wren is starting off his sophomore album with a soulful and funky blues shuffle called “Internal Jukebox”. The witty lyrics shine a light on all the different genres within the music he holds close. Don’t we all have our own little internal jukebox?

‘Internal Jukebox’ was written on my Wurlitzer electric piano in my Manhattan apartment. With it, I sought to celebrate my musical heritage and the generations of diverse musicians who have come before me and show how closely music intermingles with my DNA.

The Midwest native turned New York local has been fine-tuning his craft for almost a decade and can undoubtedly create a great song. His music has been featured on a wide range of editorial playlists and with brands like Adobe, OnlyVinyl and Starbucks. As trends and instant gratification dominate our world, Alexander Wren seeks something different. The Classic American Song.
