Goodvibes Sound – “I’ve Been Here Before”

When it’s good it’s great, but we all know that the highs never last. The new single “I’ve Been Here Before” by Goodvibes Sound explores this back-and-forth that we all experience throughout life. While the lyrics discuss feelings of isolation and loneliness, the contrast between mellow verses and catchy high energy choruses evokes this repetitive cycle. London-based duo Goodvibes Sound draws their inspiration from the sounds of 1970’s West Coast psych-pop and disco. This release is the first in a series of singles which will culminate in their forthcoming album entitled “Sunset City”.

PRXZM – “Too Much To Lose”

The new single “Too Much To Lose” by PRXZM takes a deep dive into the complexities of love and the human experience. Blending pop sensibility with emotion-driven lyrics, this nostalgic song explores personal reflection and heartbreak. This is the first single from their upcoming album due out next year. Nick Ortega and Emma Maidenberg have been making music together for the past five years after originally meeting at Indiana University. They quickly developed their signature 80’s influenced syncope sound and a loyal fanbase with their indie pop duo PRXZM (pronounced “Prism”). The band is very active on Twitch hosting live writing sessions for their fans and have had their song “Where We Started” featured in the XBox racing game Forza Horizon 5.

For all you Heartland fans, “Shooting Star” by Anna Yvette is being featured in episode 1704! Catch it streaming on Netflix on Sunday, October 22nd. Anna Yvette Anna Yvette is a NY based synthpop artist, producer, songwriter and vocalist. This is Anna’s second placement for Bodega Sync after one in season two of HBO Max’s “The Sex Lives Of College Girls”. Heartland Adapted from Lauren Brooke’s best-selling novels, this compelling family drama follows life on the Heartland ranch as sisters Amy and Lou, together with their grandfather Jack, deal with the challenges of running a ranch that has been in the family for generations. Certainly So – “Lucid”

Sometimes the saying, “everything happens for a reason” helps us justify the confusion that we all experience in life. In Certainly So’s latest single, “Lucid”, the band explores this introspective concept. Driven by Tanner Gray’s bittersweet vocals and a gorgeous string arrangement, the song slowly builds in an acoustic 6/8 feel reminiscent of Mazzy Star’s “Fade Into You” until it hits the final third where it explodes into a driving rock finale. Hailing from Birmingham and Nashville, this self described “post-angst” band was formed in 2010 by the joining of longtime friends who have been collectively refining their classic inspired indie rock sound for the past decade.

EMM – “Kool Aid”

EMM’s latest single, “Kool Aid” encourages listeners to let go of all inhibitions, knock back whatever helps ease the pain and dance the night away. The energetic synth pop track features EMM’s signature powerhouse vocals over a bouncy 80’s retro beat and pulsating synths. This uptempo party driven track is a decidedly different musical direction for EMM, who typically writes darker epic Alt. Pop anthems. Ever constant is her attention to detail when it comes to syncability, something she does masterfully across her whole catalog. EMM is an L.A. based artist, songwriter, producer and classically-trained multi-instrumentalist.
