Lyrically, I wrote LOZER (With A Z) about losing fear of what others think. I’ve never really fit in and I’ve had to learn to accept and celebrate myself as I am. The song is funny and lighthearted (“I heard she used to sniff sharpies”) and self deprecating (“I’m such a fucking loser”), but also recognizing the empowerment and freedom in self acceptance (“I love the way I am cause I’m a God damn star).
