K. Roosevelt’s brilliant new album ‘Solstice’ will have you locked into a dreamlike trance, consumed by the deep vibe he conjures up. With washed out synths, funky basslines and laid back grooves, this record is the perfect soundtrack for those sexy LA summer nights. Standout tracks include “Love Blind”, “Day Glow”, and “Impress Me” featuring R&B singer Arin Ray.

‘Solstice’ is the second independent LP from the Los Angeles based multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and producer following five years of releases on Interscope and Def Jam. Starting his journey at a young age following in the footsteps of his father Keb Mo, Roosevelt started out as a drummer and expanded from there into the musical polymath he is today. This week his song “Day Glow” appears in the new Freeform series ’Everything’s Trash’, no doubt the first of many placements to come on this record!
