After the massive success of her former band Houndmouth, singer-songwriter Katie Toupin’s solo career is on the rise. As a member of Houndmouth, Katie co-wrote and sang on their hit song “Sedona”, which among others was featured on both “Grey’s Anatomy” and “This Is Us” and has received over 110 million streams on Spotify alone.
At two and half years sober, Katie wrote her new single “Don’t Wanna Die” about the last night she went out partying. Deciding to choose living life to the fullest over a miserable pattern of reckless abandonment, this song stands for her choice to party sober from that day forward. The single was engineered and mixed by Jeremy Ferguson, who received a Grammy this year for his work on Cage The Elephant’s album “Social Cues”.
