Featured Placements: Help! I’m In A Secret Relationship! Season 3

We’re thrilled to have three of our songs featured in season 3 of the MTV reality series Help! I’m In A Secret Relationship!. Songs by Bryce Green and Peytn are featured in three episodes beginning on May 21st. Peytn Peytn is a dynamic rapper from Salt Lake City, known for his evolution from EDM collaborations to a focus on authentic, experience-driven hip-hop. Sometimes we have to ask ourselves, how much is too much? In JES’s latest single, “All The Way” she dives into the complexities of being a giver and how that can come at a cost. I am an all-in kind of person. A lot of the time, I am just not being objective about what is happening. We can all see ourselves as givers, and I can be guilty of using that as a badge of honor in how I see myself. The character in the song is doing the same thing and is not respecting herself or practicing self-care. It was that circle of exhaustion, perfectionism, guilt, and low self-esteem that inspired the lyrical ideas. Rochelle Bloom – ‘ELECTRIC CIRCUS’

Skillful lyricist and storyteller Rochelle Bloom just released her latest album, ‘Electric Circus’ which dives deep into themes of mental health, addiction, love, desire, friendship and truth paired with heavy and passionate hip-hop soundscapes. To accompany the album, Rochelle created a documentary to highlight the creation of the album and notable artwork for each single cover that was created by her grandfather. For the past several years, Rochelle Bloom has been carving her own lane in the Atlanta hip-hop scene with her brand of dark, brooding, introspective rap. Her ability to guide listeners on a lyrical journey with depth and symbolism has helped her develop a steadily growing fanbase.

Andre Mateo – “FULL MOON”

Much like the artist himself, André Mateo’s latest single “FULL MOON” is a well balanced dichotomy of English and Spanish, fast and slow, introspection and swagger. Built around a soulful electric guitar riff, this song oscillates between a romantic R&B vibe in English and a double time rap in Spanish. Growing up in both Boston and Puerto Rico, Andre has been creating music and perfecting his craft since age 13. As the co-founder of the artist collective Small Wrld Music Group, he’s best known for reggaeton mixed with other genres like reggae, R&B, hip-hop, and dancehall.

Curvelo James – “Las canciones que dejé”

In his new single “Las canciones que dejé” (“The songs that I left”), Colombian artist/producer Curvelo James taps into the nostalgia behind music and how those memories can connect us to special people and things from our past. With bright guitars and Curvelo’s signature emotional vocal delivery, this mid-tempo reggaeton track entrances you in an enchanting groove. When Puerto Rican rap and Reggaeton first arrived on the scene in Colombia, a 13 year old Curvelo James began his musical journey. After gaining recognition from prominent local producers DJ Numa and DJ Kano, he joined their independent company “Los que Zumban”, also known as “The Monsters Ink”. Since then he’s been hard at work mastering his craft as a producer, lifting up local rap talent from his hometown of Barranquilla.

Tipa Tipo – ‘Cintas’

Warming up the spring season with a tropical fusion of rhythms is Tipa Tipo’s release of their first LP, ‘Cintas’. The nine-track album captivates listeners with its unique flair of Latin yacht rock, with heavy influences from the 70s disco era, soft rock and cumbia. While tackling different themes from romance to politics, the album is threaded together by its bright and groove-based tracks.
