Leiden – ‘VOLVER AL CORAZÓN’

Mexican-Cuban singer-songwriter Leiden just released her latest social and art project, ‘VOLVER AL CORAZÓN’. Composed of songs with touching stories that were co-written by women in prison, this album truly gives a voice to those deprived of their freedom. Leiden spent a year working in five female Mexican prisons and gathered the testimonials from inmates to shed light on their experiences. In addition to her role as an artist, Leiden is an activist and the founder of Jueves, the first music label in Mexico owned and run exclusively by women. She’s known for her ability to fuse Latin American roots with contemporary sounds to create a modernized twist to Latin music. Cashae – “Hold On”

Cashae, the 3x Grammy nominated producer duo from Miami, are back with a slick new Afro-Latin House banger called “Hold On”. Featuring sultry vocals from fellow roster member Kiddo Al, the track is the perfect song for chill club and party vibes. Officially slated for a November 18th release, this song is the first single off an upcoming new Afro-Latin House focused EP. Cashae established themselves as one of Miami’s most sought after producer duos following a string of successful independent singles and remixes for Atlantic, Universal and Roc Nation artists. The duo’s long list of top tier collaborations include work with Bebe Rexha, Sebastian Yatra, Mora, Mau y Ricky, Eladio Carrion, Reik, Lenny Tavárez, Lyanno, Mariah Angeliq, Jesse y Joy, Tory Lanez and many more. Past syncs include placements on ‘Dave’ (FXX), ‘FBOY Island’ (HBO Max), ‘Ex On The Beach’ (MTV) and the HBO Film ‘Make Love Great Again’.

Jenn Morel – “Estilo Cochino”

Coming through with another hip hop banger to add to the collection is Jenn Morel with her latest single, “Estilo Cochino”. The Dominican-American rapper’s infectious cadence and swagger definitely sets her apart from the rest. Switching up the flow and increasing intensity throughout the track, at the one minute mark she spits a lightning fast verse that would make Busta Rhymes blush. If that weren’t enough she also styled, produced and creative directed the one-shot music video (see below). Originally, Jenn started off as a dancer and social media/comedy influencer and quickly built a following from a short freestyle video that inspired her platinum hit record “Ponteme”. Over the past four years, Jenn Morel has blossomed into an international sensation and has garnered over 80 million streams worldwide. Andre Mateo – “MIRA”

Miami-based artist/producer Andre Mateo’s new single “MIRA” is sure to make you look. Channeling Bad Bunny-esque vibes, this motivational Latin trap banger is all about being your best self and coming out on top. The song is the first single off Mateo’s upcoming EP, which is set to release early this fall. Full of driving melody and effortless flows, “MIRA” is the perfect soundtrack for a laid back summer beach hang. A member of the Miami based artist collective SMALL WRLD, Andre Mateo has spent the past decade developing his sound and collaborating in a wide range of genres. Mateo brings his unique style to the group with his eclectic mix of Reggaeton, Dancehall, Afrobeat and Latin Trap influenced by his time down in Puerto Rico.

Jenn Morel – “Sigue Y Sigue”

LA-based Dominican rapper Jenn Morel celebrates life with this fun new single “Sigue y Sigue” (Go On and Go On). This fun, infectious party anthem is the perfect summer song with its Dembow rhythm and energetic vocals. We dare you to listen and sit still! Jenn Morel is a fast-rising international LatinX star, known for her aggressive flows and viral videos as a social media influencer. In a few short years she’s made big strides within the industry, scoring sync placements with Samsung, Fortnite, and Just Dance in addition to racking up over 80 million streams across platforms. With her signature energetic sound, Jen has also become a top figure in the Zumba community.

Zeta – “Todo Bailarlo”

Originally hailing from a little town off the coast of Venezuela, the Latin art collective Zeta just released their latest album “Todo Bailarlo” on the midwest indie rock label Skeletal Lightning. The group collaborated with a collective of musicians spread out across the world known as The Abajo Cadenas Orchestra to explore a variety of genres popular throughout Latin America. The album is very much reflective of the group’s roots and multifaceted cultures. The collective’s sound varies from dense polyrhythmic percussion with Afro-Carribean influences to retro 70’s post-rock psychedelic tracks. The true essence behind the collective is that they honor the ideals of resistance against the unjust treatment of living beings and cultural/racial prejudices. Whether it’s through music, film, design, or cuisine, Zeta’s style and sound can be perceived in many different mediums. When you make music with your life partner, it gives you the freedom to expose your most vulnerable side. Having done so for more than a decade, Alejandro y Maria Laura have developed a unique sonic language. In their new single “Lagrimón” (or “big tear”, in English), Maria Laura takes the concept of a big tear and weaves it into a metaphor for the deep sadness and longing she feels for her mother. Curvelo James – “Doble”

In the Caribbean coastal city of Barranquilla, Colombia there’s a movement of freestyle rap battles where up and coming rappers get together to spit fire and make a name for themselves. The best of the best inevitably end up in Flowkillas Studios, working with Curvelo James. Curvelo and his partner Morley de Moya have been hosting the Freestyle Barranquilla competition for five years, inspired by the pro freestyle league Urban Roosters which originated in Spain but quickly spread throughout Latin America. This movement has fueled an emerging Colombian Latin Trap scene, and Curvelo James is right in the middle of it all working with the best talent his city has to offer. Loli Molina – “Visiones Doradas”

In her stunning new single “Visiones Doradas” (“Golden Visions”), singer/songwriter Loli Molina conjures up an introspective journey through the rugged terrain of the Andes region. The overall tone of the song is melancholy, meant to evoke both the harshness and beauty of the environment. The “golden visions” are an apparition, a mirage in the desolate landscape. The poetry doesn’t translate so well into English, but perhaps it’s beside the point. The music tells its own story, as all great songs do. Loli Molina was born in Buenos Aires but is now based in Mexico City. Chewii, Govales, Loko Velocet – “Dance Through The Pain”

Some of you may not know that Bodega Sync is actually a division of Symphonic Distribution. Those that do know probably aren’t aware that our founder and CEO Jorge Brea is also a killer producer.
