We’re very happy to have three placements in the first season of the Netflix reality series Twentysomethings: Austin. This season features music by Calliope Musicals, Daz Rinko, and Kiddo AI. Calliope Musicals      Calliope Musicals is an Indie Psych-Pop band from Austin Texas, whose epic theatrical live performances are the stuff of legends. Their track “Echo Of The Whoos” appears in episode 104, which premiered on December 10th. Daz Rinko Best known for his upbeat, positive jams and genre-blending style, Memphis hip-hop artist Daz Rinko is an artist on the rise. His song “New Whip, Who Dis?” appears in episode 109, which premiered on December 17th. Kiddo A.I. Kiddo A.I. is a gifted singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who writes music in a wide variety of genres including Pop, R&B, Latin and Electro Pop. “Tipos Listos” by Dominican rapper Original Juan is featured in the Italian Netflix series “Zero”. The series premieres April 21st on Netflix and will be televised nationally in Italy. The song plays over the opening credits of Episode 3. About “Zero” “Zero” is an Italian sci-fi series based on the book “Non ho mai avuto la mia età” by Antonio Dikele Distefano. It’s notably the first Italian series that centers on the black Italian experience. The protagonist, Omar, is a shy teen with the power to turn invisible must get it under control to help defend his neighborhood, putting aside the pursuit of his artistic dream.

Miami-based Pop/R&B artist PXTN describes his new single “Take It” as being inspired by his thoughts about selfishness. “The world needs to be selfless and give more. I’ve learned that the more you give, the more it comes back.” The song opens with sparse instrumentation and vulnerable vocals, quickly building into a massive back end chorus complete with choir vocals and string arrangements. “Take It” was featured in a powerful emotional scene underscoring a troubled father/son relationship in episode 305 of Netflix’s “On My Block”, which premiered its third season on March 11th. Artist/producer Adrian Daniel has an earnest Pop/R&B sound nestled between his emotive lush vocals and an airy falsetto that commands one’s attention. Following his packed hometown performance in December headlining Best of the Borough at the Brooklyn Museum, Adrian announced the upcoming release of his latest single “Love Me”.
