Fionn – ‘I Might Start Smoking’

Just in time for the summer, Fionn returns with their latest album ‘I Might Start Smoking’. Inspired by the unpredictable transition into adulthood and quoted as their “second coming of age”, the twin sister duo delivers a super catchy indie-pop record in the vein of artists like Haim, boygenius and MUNA. The Celtic-Canadian duo first came onto the music scene in 2018 with their self-titled debut album and began building an incredible catalog with the label 604 Records. Known for their catchy hooks and creative songwriting abilities, the sisters have refined their craft and never fail to deliver a well-polished sound. This time around they’ve opted to try and weave their Celtic accents into the music in a subtle, yet tasteful way. We dig it.

Winona Forever Originally from Vancouver, but based in Montreal, Winona Forever is a self-described Indie Jazz Yacht Rock quartet that combines spicey rock riffs and arts and crafts rhythms to create delicious ready-to-listen pop songs. Featured Placement: “OUTERSPACE” by Orrin

We’re pleased to announce that “OUTERSPACE” by Orrin is being featured in the kick-off episode of the new HBO Max’s mystery thriller miniseries Full Circle, premiering on July 13th. Orrin Orrin is a self-described “collective conscious and cyborg sent by a higher civilization to warn humans about the incoming apocalypse” who uses music as a vehicle to spread their message about disease, famine, environmental disaster, and the overall impending apocalypse through multidimensional and indefinable rap beats and lyrics. In their own words: I think it speaks to both our personalities heavily, in terms of wanting to withdraw from the world in some ways, while also being heavily emotionally tied to others. This masked Florida duo gained significant success from their single, “Dark Disco” which garnered over a million streams on Spotify. Always changing up their sound but exploring retro vibes from the past, this band’s ambiguous style continues to evolve. Although you might have no idea what they look like, you’ll never forget their sound!

In her latest single “LOZER (feat. A Z)”, EMM delivers a powerful performance and creative fusion of Pop and Phonk.
