Sometimes we have to ask ourselves, how much is too much? In JES’s latest single, “All The Way” she dives into the complexities of being a giver and how that can come at a cost.

I am an all-in kind of person. A lot of the time, I am just not being objective about what is happening. We can all see ourselves as givers, and I can be guilty of using that as a badge of honor in how I see myself. The character in the song is doing the same thing and is not respecting herself or practicing self-care. It was that circle of exhaustion, perfectionism, guilt, and low self-esteem that inspired the lyrical ideas. I wanted to create a song that captures the bittersweet nature of love and the journey toward self-empowerment.

Over the years, NY-native JES has carved out her own niche in Alt Pop and Dance. Not only has she received three Grammy nominations, but her songs have been featured in the Billboard Played Songs of the Decade charts and she’s collaborated with industry-leading DJs Tiësto and Kaskade.
