“Feelin’ Blue”, the lead single from the new EP by No Suits, taps into their effortlessly cool sound that they couldn’t avoid if they tried. This L.A. trio gets in the pocket with this new track blending R&B, hip-hop, funk and (royalty-free) sample chops with a dab of Mac Miller swagger. When the three friends met in class one day in San Diego, they had no clue it would be the start of their musical careers. Dedicated to the idea that they would all steer clear of the corporate life, No Suits was born. A decade later, the band has built an incredible catalog and following with their unique and evolving sound. One of our first and longest running clients, No Suits has had an amazing run of sync with brands like Mini Cooper and Gold Bond, TV placements with shows like Grand Crew, 4400 and FBoy Island as well […]

Known for their effortless swag, the latest single by L.A. trio No Suits takes on a different feel with a laid back house beat. Drawing inspiration from artists like Jamiroquai & Toro Y Moi, “Tall Man” features punchy horns, an immaculately funky drum beat and frontman Max Carstens-Pierro’s signature laid back flow. Since forming in 2016, No Suits have steadily developed their diverse sound through experimentation and collaboration with fellow up-and-comers Kota the Friend, DLG., Abhi The Nomad and Danny Dwyer. Striking a delicate balance between unadulterated confidence and cheeky self-depreciation, the band often adopts a sexy swagger while never taking themselves too seriously. No Suits is also a big favorite in the sync community with placements on Grand Crew, 4400, FBoy Island and spots with major brands like Mini Cooper and Gold Bond. Check out the video for “Tall Man”:

On the heels of their incredible new album “Sex”, Los Angeles three-piece No Suits is back with another funky new single entitled “Ice Cold”. Effortlessly blending together elements of indie psych-rock, hip hop and funky retro R&B as though it were a frozen piña colada, the song features not one, but two impeccable guitar solos. And let’s be honest, very few bands can pull off even one decent guitar solo these days. The accompanying music video is the perfect complement to a jam like “Ice Cold”, a fixed-camera stroll through an epic house party complete with booty shaking, red solo cups and a couple dudes making out: Since signing with Bodega Sync, No Suits has had their music licensed by MINI Cooper, Gold Bond and NFL on Fox. With a string of successful collaborations with emerging indie rappers like Abhi The Nomad and Kota The Friend, the band’s exceptionally slick […]
The new sophmore EP by Los Angeles locals No Suits, unsubtly titled “Sex”, is a distinct contrast to their debut EP “Virgin”. Marking a sort of end to their sonic puberty, their evolution from downtempo indie soul pop to confident and punchy funk-hop took form in the making of the new EP throughout the last year. The band’s unique sound comes from a tasteful blending of an indie psych-rock vibe a la Tame Impala with throwback elements from classic hip hop, soul, rock, funk and jazz. The result is music with a pervasive smooth swagger to it, which is likely the key to much of their recent sync success. The lead single off the record “Sue” has achieved over 2.6 million plays on Spotify and was featured in a segment with Brad Pitt for NFL on Fox. Their 2019 single “Clothes Off” has been in spots for MINI Cooper and […]
