We’re pleased to announce that “Edge Of An Ocean” by Ships Have Sailed is being featured in episode 1902 of the long-running Canadian series Heartland, premiering on Netflix on Sunday, October 12th. Ships Have Sailed Ships Have Sailed is the musical project of vocalist/guitarist Will Carpenter, originally formed as a solo outlet before evolving into a full indie-rock band with the addition of drummer Art Andranikyan. Their sound blends buoyant pop melodies with introspective and emotive lyrics. Heartland on Netflix It follows life on the Heartland ranch as sisters Amy and Lou, together with their grandfather Jack, deal with the challenges of running a ranch that has been in the family for generations. This season promises emotional reckonings, the return of familiar faces, and romantic developments, especially as Amy moves beyond past loves and opens her heart to new possibilities. The episode will air on ABC and then be available for streaming on demand through Hulu.
