“No Turning Back” by Claire Guerreso is featured in episode 806 of “The Blacklist”, airing February 12th on NBC and streaming on-demand on Peacock. About “The Blacklist” on NBC “The Blacklist” follows Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader), a former U.S. Navy officer turned high-profile criminal who voluntarily surrenders to the FBI after eluding capture for decades. He tells the FBI that he has a list of the most dangerous criminals in the world which he has compiled over the years, and he is willing to inform on their operations in exchange for immunity from prosecution. However, he insists on working exclusively with rookie FBI profiler Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone).

“Cabbage” by Orrin and “Smoke” by TheRealEVK are featured in episode 5 of the new FX mini-docuseries “Hip Hop Uncovered”, airing February 26th on FX, or catch it streaming on-demand on Hulu. About “Hip Hop Uncovered” “Hip Hop Uncovered” is an examination of a dying breed of power brokers who operate from the shadows of hip-hop. Set against 40 years of music history, this six-part documentary series takes a deep dive into the paradox of America’s criminalization of the genre and its fascination with the street culture that created it and still exists within it. Instead of telling the story of hip-hop from the top down, “Hip Hop Uncovered” tells the story from the streets up, as it reveals the untold story of how America’s streets helped shape hip-hop culture from an expression of survival and defiance into one of music’s most dominant genres.

Featured Placement: “Move” by VINNE

“Move” by Brazilian DJ VINNE (courtesy of Up Club Records) is featured in the upcoming Finnish documentary film “How To Kill A Cloud”. About “How To Kill A Cloud” Scientist Hannele Korhonen has one ultimate passion: to work at the top of the atmospheric science community in the world. She wishes to be totally independent and concentrate on her science while maintaining high ethical values. Her life changes dramatically when she is awarded a $1.5 million research grant by the United Arab Emirates. The funder expects her to find ways to make the migratory clouds above the UAE to rain on the country suffering of drought. The opportunity to get proper funding for such a special research is perfect. Gradually she learns that the aim of the funder is to benefit one country, not science at large. Korhonen’s enthusiasm morphs into an ethical dilemma and inner conflicts.

Featured Placement: Verizon/Fortnite Live Gaming Event

Several hip hop tracks by our artists Call Me Ace, Julian Xtra, Nate Rose and Orrin were used in a live-streaming event promoting Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband. The event featured Twitch megastar Myth crushing Fortnite with the new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, as well as tips and tricks for gameplay. About the Event According to Verizon, the 5G Stadium in Fortnite Creative, is the largest activation ever built in Fortnite’s Creative Mode and will give gamers the opportunity to interact with their favorite NFL players and pro gamers in a way that’s never been done before. The activation will feature four football-inspired games and a few hidden surprises for players. Highlighting the power of 5G for gaming, the virtual stadium was built utilizing the low lag and high speeds made possible by the Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband network.

The Familiar – “Shelter”

The Familiar’s music often sounds ominous, but nothing bad really ever happens. Just the glow of slow-burning embers softly illuminating the darkness. Daz Rinko – “Candy Mane”

Like so many of our favorite artists, Memphis rapper Daz Rinko just loves to mix it up. His recent single “Candy Mane” is a dreamy concoction of hip hop, R&B and retro 80’s dance pop, like a pure sugar rush like you get from mixing all the fountain soda flavors together. Produced by Italian producer Cheap Limousine, “Candy Mane” gets it’s throwback vibe from the classic DX7 piano, bouncy synth bass lines and electric guitar dripping in spring reverb. Born Edward Ebri to Nigerian immigrants in Jacksonville, FL, Eddy is a proud first generation American. Enter the Päterverse. An accomplished actor, writer, director and recording artist performing under the moniker Päter, Parmida Kakavand’s unique style of songwriting navigates themes like self-discovery and mental health with an irreverent, lighthearted touch.
