For nearly a decade Bronze Radio Return’s rousing, anthemic sound has created an undeniable upbeat atmosphere that’s one part dance party and another part roots-rock. If their name doesn’t ring a bell, odds are you’ve heard one of their acclaimed singles, leaving them affectionately dubbed “the band you’ve probably heard, but haven’t heard of.” Racking up over 85 million streams on Spotify alone, and with songs such as “Light Me Up”, “Further On”, “With Me All Along” and “Shake, Shake, Shake”, they have had an epic decade run with well over 100 high-profile sync placements. The list (more of a spreadsheet, really) includes broadcast spots for Nissan, Coca Cola, Starbucks, Home Depot, Blue Moon, Discover and Bayer and hit TV shows like “Shameless”, “Criminal Minds”, “New Amsterdam” and “The Rookie”. Just to name a few! Bronze Radio Return’s latest single, “Tell It To Me” is a song for the times […]
Singer-Songwriter Trevor Hall’s new single “My Own” was written about the power of longing to be together, even when it’s not possible. He reflects, “Even though we may be upset at the pain of separation…that pain of separation is actually a blessing to fuel one’s desire to be united with one’s true love.” The song is both poignant and uplifting, with Trevor’s soulful baritone voice projecting a profound sense of longing and emotion. With a building arrangement featuring a gorgeous backup vocal section erupting in the choruses, this song is clearly cut out to be prime montage material. Raised on an island off the coast in South Carolina, Hall discovered at a young age that music was his passion and life’s art. At sixteen he recorded his first album, soon after which he set out for California where he studied classical guitar and was introduced to the practices of yoga […]
The Kickdrums has returned with “Sunshine Guy” – an ethereal burst of indie rock melancholia that lyrically reflects the strange days that we’re trudging through so far in 2020. While the song was written before we lived in a state of pandemic, it perfectly encapsulates the emotional rollercoaster and weird state of mind that most of us have experienced since being locked in quarantine. The song is built on layers of synths intricately arranged and intertwined with a bouncing bassline and reflexive percussion to create a soundscape that feels both otherworldly and intimately relatable. The Kickdrums is the recording alias of producer/singer/songwriter, Alex Fitts. Over the course of his career, Fitts has been celebrated for his incredible dynamism as a songwriter/producer. He’s produced for such legendary artists as Kid Cudi, 50 Cent, K Flay, Lana Del Rey, Freddie Gibbs, and Slaughterhouse while maintaining a sizable cult following on the artist […]
Our society is going through big changes, voices are getting loud and the BLM movement is soaring. The concept behind Yuni Wa’s new single “Dark Matter Theory” is inspired by this movement, but with a bit of a twist. Dark matter is a phenomenon that is unseen and not well understood in the natural observable universe. Though fully invisible, physicists know it exists because galaxies would fly apart if it wasn’t there to hold them together. This song is his personal homage to black strength and how far-reaching black concept art can extend. As with all of his music, “Dark Matter Theory” is inspired by a blend of sociopolitical affairs, science and futurism. Anyone that sends us briefs has surely been pitched some of Yuni Wa’s extensive and diverse catalog at one point or another. He’s just incredible, just be sure to turn it up!
Uncompromising, muscular and powerful, the music of Two Fingers is also full of subtle touches, humor and a supple sense of rhythm. Originally formed in 2009, the project was the creation of Brazilian-born electro-jazz/breaks/jungle trailblazer Amon Tobin and U.K. drum’n’bass artist Doubleclick, together with several guest MCs whose contributions are integral to the project. Now just one of Tobin’s many alter egos, Two Fingers brings a fundamentally new and dynamic direction incorporating visceral elements of dancehall, dubstep, and grime. “To the haters who said I’d gone soft, I give a long hard stare and boldly present Two Fingers. -Amon Tobin “FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!” is the title track off an unexpectedly defiant and uplifting new album, featuring collaborations with Ivy Lab, Little Snake, and G Jones.

With everyone feeling a lot of stress and anxiety in this moment, there are times it can feel a bit like a nightmare. Claire’s upcoming single “Wake Up” is an epic anthem letting people know they are not alone in their struggles. “Sometimes, we wish the bad things happening in our […]
Amanda Ibanez, better known as Kiddo A.I., was raised in a family of gifted musicians and was completely aware of her destiny from a young age. Not just a talented singer and topliner, she’s also a multi-instrumentalist and a fluent Spanish speaker. She’s what you might call fuego femenino. The first few years of Kiddo’s career saw a string of successful collaborations in different genres. Following her first vocal feature with rapper Bernz, she caught the ear of his label’s co-founder Tech N9ne who pulled her in to collaborate on his track “Til I’m Gone”. She then went on to work with popular DJ duo SMLE, racking up a collective 10 million Spotify streams between the three singles “Into Something”, “2 Me” and “Stranded”. We first encountered Kiddo last year as a member of Miami’s Cashae collective with their song “Endless Summer”, which we placed in the season finale of […]
Not only did legendary R&B artist JoJo Hailey (Jodeci, K-Ci & JoJo) make a dynamic comeback this year with the release of his first ever solo single “Special”, but he also announced the launch of his new label JT Entertainment. The press accolades he received for the Valentine’s Day release of “Special” were tremendous, landing him a Billboard premiere and interviews with KDay FM, HipHopDX and Rolling Out. The song was written as a tribute to JoJo’s wife Tashaunda Hailey, but works as a universal anthem to show your love and appreciation for any special woman in your life. Following up with the release of the official remix produced by Mike Smoov, JoJo takes things up a notch by adding a feature by none other than Snoop Dogg! In the remix version the legendary rapper shows his vulnerable side with lyrics like: “See patience is a virtue, I see you […]
After the massive success of her former band Houndmouth, singer-songwriter Katie Toupin’s solo career is on the rise. As a member of Houndmouth, Katie co-wrote and sang on their hit song “Sedona”, which among others was featured on both “Grey’s Anatomy” and “This Is Us” and has received over 110 million streams on Spotify alone. At two and half years sober, Katie wrote her new single “Don’t Wanna Die” about the last night she went out partying. Deciding to choose living life to the fullest over a miserable pattern of reckless abandonment, this song stands for her choice to party sober from that day forward. The single was engineered and mixed by Jeremy Ferguson, who received a Grammy this year for his work on Cage The Elephant’s album “Social Cues”.
Miami-based Pop/R&B artist PXTN describes his new single “Take It” as being inspired by his thoughts about selfishness. “The world needs to be selfless and give more. I’ve learned that the more you give, the more it comes back.” The song opens with sparse instrumentation and vulnerable vocals, quickly building into a massive back end chorus complete with choir vocals and string arrangements. “Take It” was featured in a powerful emotional scene underscoring a troubled father/son relationship in episode 305 of Netflix’s “On My Block”, which premiered its third season on March 11th. This is easily the best montage song in our catalog, so if you’re looking for something with an emotional build that tugs on the heart strings you need to grab this one! PXTN got his start on Season 10 of The Voice, where he placed in the top eight contestants. He’s since evolved into an artist with […]
